What is the CaringApp and who is it for?


An app that informs caregivers of the physical and behavioral state of seniors through digital means. The app uses AI and machine learning to recognize patterns, creating personalized profiles and alerting when detecting inconsistencies. CaringApp helps improve the quality of care and the elderly’s well-being, it makes daily contact more fruitful and in an emergency it could save lives.




How many family members can I add?


You can add as many family members as you want!




How can I add another family member to my account?


To add another family member, simply go to the Family Setup screen and click on the (+) button at the bottom of the screen.




How do I remove a loved one from my CaringApp account?


To remove a loved one from your account, go to the Family Setup screen. Tap on Edit Profile for the selected loved one and then on Remove loved one at the bottom of the screen.




How can I add a second caregiver to my family member's account?


Have the second caregiver download CaringApp and connect to your family member using the connection link that will be generated.
You and the 2nd caregiver will not be connected, you are only connected to your loved one.




Does CaringApp drain my battery?


No. Our developers have done amazing work optimizing CaringApp to use as little battery as possible.




Which platforms does CaringApp support?


CaringApp supports both Android and iOS devices.
You and your loved one can use different device types and operating systems, it makes no difference to us.

πŸ“Œ Location and GPS Tracker

What is the location tracker and Daily Routine?


The CaringApp scans your family member's location at all times. You'll receive alerts when they check-in/out of saved places.
If your loved one's battery level is lower than 15%, you will receive an alert with their last known location.




How do I add additional saved places?


During the initial app setup, you are asked to set your family member's home address. You can add many other saved places such as other family members' houses, etc.
To do that, go to the Family Setup. Tap on your family member profile and then on the (+) sign at the bottom of the Saved Places screen.




I couldn't locate my family member's home or other significant address, what should I do?


When you search for the an address, start with the city, then street and number.

What is Mood Detection?


The CaringApp analyzes your loved one's voice during phone calls. We only analyze their tone of voice and ignore the content of the call. You will receive an alert if your their mood is classified as "bad" - upset, stressed or angry.

What is inactivity alert?


Get alerted when a potentially dangerous decline in activity (physical or digital) is detected.

What is battery level monitoring?


Automatically receive last location when battery drops to less than 15%.

How can I reset my CaringApp password?


If you can't remember your password, open the app and go to the login screen. There, tap on Forgot Password.
If you remember your password but want to change it, log out and then tap on Forgot Password in the login screen.




How do I change the email address associated with my CaringApp account?


In order to change your email address, you will need to open a new account and re-connect to your loved one. Uninstall the app and sign up using your new email address. Then connect to your loved one's device using a connection link that will be generated.




Is my information secure?


Yes! We keep your data safe and encrypted. No one can touch your data - not even us! Our servers anonymously collect data, analyze it, and then delete it. No one can access your data because we get rid of it before anyone can ever get a chance!

Which permissions are required and why?


You will need to authorize access to some data on your device in order to properly use CaringApp:


Location (to enable GPS tracker and saved places notifications)

You can authorize these permissions on your device under: Settings > Permissions.
